About Me

Yep, that's me.
Hi there! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I'm Amanda and I recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Women, Culture & Development. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Transformational Urban Leadership through Azusa Pacific University. Although I'm not entirely sure what the future holds for me after the program, I'll likely be working for an NGO that empowers marginalized communities.

I love learning new things, making and eating delicious foods, being crafty, and watching Friends. I also like deep conversations and being in community with brothers and sisters in Christ. I love to be in nature and bask at the beauty of God's creation; the Earth is so beautiful and I think it's really important that we take care of it.

Some other lovely things I really enjoy: the beach, sunsets, animals of all sizes and shapes, snail mail, thrift shops, Target, chocolate, cleaning (I know, that's kind of weird), new experiences, the color blue, and learning more about the beauty of God's heart.

This blog is dedicated to sharing the exciting & challenging things that happen during my time in MATUL. I would love your prayers & support as I embark upon this journey.
